Janet E. Shiverdecker, 73, of Greenville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, August 26, 2010 at her residence.

She was born August 13, 1937 in Darke County, daughter of the late Harry and Mabel (Fischbach) Leeper. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Percy A., Marvin "Dale", Minor E. and N. Edward Leeper; and sisters Twila C. Bell and Carolyn "Ann" Spahr.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Kenneth D. Shiverdecker; children, Shelia R. Slauter and Brian D. Shiverdecker; five granddaughters, Laci R. Flory, Brandi L. Flory, Katelyn Shiverdecker, Jesica A. Shiverdecker and Christina D. Shiverdecker; and a sister Barbara June Klenke.

Private services will be held at a later date with burial to follow in the Brock Cemetery.

There will be no public visitation. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the charity of the donor's choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville.
